Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall
We were the acousticians to the Royal College of Music advising on the £6m refurbishment of their Concert Hall, completed in 2009.
We undertook detailed measurements to define the existing noise intrusion, sound insulation and room acoustic conditions. We prepared detailed advice on all aspects of the refurbishment with a view achieving conditions that correct a number of existing deficiencies and meet the aspirations of the RCM for a first class teaching, performance recording venue.
The Concert Hall is a Grade II listed, and all our recommendations took on board the need for minimal visual changes.
